O que significa Senescence
O nome que escolhemos não é por acaso. Senescence é um termo em inglês derivado de senescência — o processo fisiológico de envelhecimento que atinge todos os seres humanos. Não é uma doença. É uma fase da vida marcada por transformações biológicas, psíquicas e sociais que, quando bem cuidadas, podem ser vividas com qualidade, dignidade e plenitude.
Envelhecer é uma conquista. A longevidade que hoje observamos é resultado direto da melhora da qualidade de vida e da evolução do conhecimento médico. As populações de todo o mundo estão envelhecendo em ritmo acelerado — e com isso cresce também a necessidade de um cuidado de saúde que entenda, respeite e atenda as especificidades dessa fase da vida.
A Senescence Brasil nasceu exatamente dessa necessidade.
Nossa História
A Senescence Brasil surgiu da percepção de que pessoas idosas e com dificuldade de locomoção merecem um cuidado de saúde que as enxergue por inteiro — não como uma lista de doenças a tratar, mas como pessoas com histórias, desejos e famílias que se importam profundamente com elas.
Reunimos uma equipe multidisciplinar de alto nível — médicos, fisioterapeutas, fonoaudiólogos, nutricionistas, terapeutas ocupacionais, neuropsicólogos, dentistas e enfermagem — que trabalha de forma integrada, compartilhando informações e construindo juntos o melhor plano de cuidado para cada paciente.
Atendemos na nossa clínica no Estreito, em Florianópolis, e para quem não pode se deslocar, levamos o cuidado até o lar do paciente — com a mesma equipe, a mesma qualidade e o mesmo compromisso.

O bonsai simboliza paz, harmonia, equilíbrio, paciência, felicidade e honra. É exatamente o que desejamos para nossos pacientes: uma vida longa, cuidada e vivida com dignidade.
